RPS Award for Excellence and Innovation
The Research Pharmacy Summit Award for Excellence and Innovation recognizes individuals and teams who have made consistent and significant contributions to research pharmacy.
2025 Award Recipient
The theme of RPS 2025 centered on innovation—the courage to challenge the status quo and the vision to build something better. Embodying this spirit is the 2025 RPS Award for Excellence and Innovation recipient: Janet Mighty. A trailblazer in research pharmacy for over two decades, including launching the first pharmacy residency program dedicated to Investigational Drugs and Research.
During the 2025 award ceremony, Janet was celebrated with heartfelt testimonies from colleagues who spoke of her humility, tireless work ethic, and unwavering positivity. She is a role model to countless pharmacy residents and peers. Her innovation has not only shaped careers and elevated standards—it has pushed the boundaries of what’s possible in research pharmacy.
