McCreadie Group Privacy Policy

PURPOSE

The purpose of this document is to familiarize McCreadie Group Software LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Cordance Operations, LLC (“McCreadie Group”) employees and visitors of our website with our company’s policies around information privacy and sharing for users of our applications and services.  McCreadie Group employees’ actions must be informed by, and be consistent with, the policies outlined below.

For the purpose of this document all references to “we”, “us”, this “website”, “Site”, or this”: service” refers to McCreadie Group and/or the software services provided by McCreadie Group.

SUMMARY

McCreadie Group Software LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Cordance Operations, LLC (“McCreadie Group”) is committed to respecting your privacy and recognizing your need for appropriate protection and management of information you share with us. The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to inform you what information we may collect from you, how we use such information, and the choices you have regarding our use of, and your ability to review, correct and opt out of our use of, the information.  Your access and use of the https://mccreadiegroup.com/  or “Site” indicates your irrevocable acceptance of this Policy. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THIS POLICY OR ANY FUTURE POLICY, YOU MAY NOT USE THE SITE.

The content of this Site is not directed to children and McCreadie Group does not knowingly collect personal information from persons under eighteen years of age. 

COLLECTING INFORMATION

We have several areas where we collect information that may be used to identify you, and we also have features that automatically collect information from the users of our Site. This information may include your name, company name, account number, address, telephone number, e-mail address, location data, and any other information that personally identifies you or would permit us to contact you.

Whether or not to provide much of this information is completely your own choice. But if you choose not to provide the information we request, you may be unable to access certain services, offers, and content on our web site and/or services.

The only exception would be if law or legal process requires disclosure of personal data which will be proceeded with a written notice to the client.

A “cookie” is a small data file that is placed on the hard drive of your computer when you visit a web site. Generally, we use cookies to improve the quality of our service when you visit our web site and other services. As a result, while we strive to protect your contact information, we cannot and do not guarantee or warrant the security of any information you transmit to or from our web sites, and you do so at your own risk. Accordingly, McCreadie Group is not responsible for loss, corruption or unauthorized acquisition of personal information furnished to this Site and/or stored by us, or for any damages resulting from such loss, corruption, or unauthorized acquisition. In the event of a security breach, we will immediately report the occurrence to the client and will use diligent efforts to remedy any security breach or suspected security breach.

We urge you to keep any password that you establish with us in a safe place and not to divulge it to anyone. Also remember to log off your account and close your browser window when you have finished your visit. This is to ensure that others cannot access your account, especially if you are sharing a computer with someone else or are using a computer in a public place such as a library or Internet cafe.

LINKS TO THIRD PARTY SITES

Our web sites may contain links to web sites operated and maintained by third parties, over which we have no control. Privacy policies on such linked sites may be different from our privacy policy. You access such linked sites at your own risk. You should always read the privacy policy of a linked site before disclosing any of your information on such site.

AFFILIATED ENTITIES

In the event that McCreadie Group is merged, or in the event of a transfer of our assets, Site or operations, McCreadie Group may disclose or transfer your personal information in connection with such transaction. In the event of such a transfer, McCreadie Group will notify you via email or by posting a prominent notice on our Site for 30 days after any such change in ownership of McCreadie Group resulting in a change of control of your personal information.

INTERNATIONAL

McCreadie Group is headquartered in the United States of America and any personal information may be accessed by us or transferred into the United States of America. We will protect this personal information according to this Privacy Policy, regardless of where it is processed or stored. All personal information is subject to the laws of the United States of America, including the ability of governments, courts, law enforcements and/or regulatory agencies of the USA to obtain disclosure of personal information.

COMPELLED DISCLOSURE

We will also disclose your personal information when required to do so by law, for example, in response to a court order or a subpoena or other legal obligation, in response to a law enforcement agency’s request, or in special cases when we have reason to believe that disclosing your personal information is necessary to identify, contact or bring legal action against someone who may be causing injury to or interference with (whether intentionally or unintentionally) our rights or property. 

POLICY CHANGES

If we decide to change our privacy policy in whole or in part, we will inform you by posting a notice on our web sites, as applicable. Those changes will go into effect on the effective date posted in the notice and at the end of the revised Privacy Policy. The new policy will apply to all current and past users of our web sites and will replace any prior policies that are inconsistent. Your continued use of our web sites or other services constitutes your acceptance of the practices described in the revised Privacy Policy.
